How our swimwear is created

Our fabric is created entirely in Europe and our garments are made in Cornwall, UK

  • ICELAND: i-sea sustainably harvests seaweed

The organic seaweed is responsibly harvested from the sparsely populated fjords of Iceland through a gentle and selective process that allows the plant to regenerate naturally

  • GERMANY: Smartfiber make SEACELL

The algae is mixed with sustainably sourced wood pulp to create the fabric fibres.

This bio-based fibre is carbon neutral, produced in a
closed loop, with no chemicals released as waste, exclusively from sustainable raw materials – wood and seaweed – using methods that save both energy and resources.

  • SPAIN: PYRATEX® knit SEACELL fabric

Degradable elastane is added to our fabric. It’s regular elastane, with an added fruit polymer that accelerates its degradation
at its end-of-life, without releasing any harmful materials.

It is then dyed with reactive dyes which are kinder to the environment and your skin.
