Reinforced Stitching

At seaweaved, we use the same stitch that wetsuits are sewn with, so the seams are incredibly strong

Care for your Swimsuit

Prolonging your garment’s life is part of responsible fashion consumption

Our swimsuit fabric is incredible and part of that comes from the fact it's not derived plastic, which means the fabric needs a little more care to keep it in it's original perfect condition

Be conscious with chlorine
Oils and chemicals like chlorine can be damaging to the fabric and colour of your swimwear. After swimming, ensure you rinse your garment with cold water and wash at 30oC with similar colours. This prevents long term chlorine absorption which will cause the fabric to break down.

Keep it cool
Please be aware that wearing your swimwear in extreme temperatures such as Jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms and hot springs, can damage the material, colour and quality of your piece.

Dry with care
Elastane (a composition of most swimwear) doesn’t like heat or chemicals. Do not tumble dry your swimwear, or hang it on a radiator, air drying is best. Please dry it flat and out of direct sunlight.

Take caution with creams

Suncreams, body oils and moisturisers can cause discolouration, especially on lighter fabrics. To prevent staining, we advise applying your sunscreen first, and making sure it’s totally dry before putting on your swimwear.

Avoid rough surfaces
Due to the knit of swimwear fabric, it can catch easily on anything that is coarse. Keep your swimwear away from rough surfaces or accessories to avoid snagging.
